Machon Lev - English Speaker's Program

Our program is an opportunity to spend an exciting year combining yeshiva and academic studies at one of Israel’s leading colleges. Since 1969, Machon Lev has produced a new generation of professionals who are committed to Torah and Mitzvot. Our program enables English speakers to benefit from Machon Lev by offering a freshman year of studies taught completely in English. Students benefit from the warmth and personal attention of a small overseas program, along with the campus and resources of a large academic institution.

Core contents of the program:
Students spend their mornings in yeshiva studies and their afternoons in academic studies. Different learning tracks of yeshiva studies are available for students interested in focusing on Gemara or Jewish Machshava topics. The academic program is tailored to meet the core course requirements of most degrees in the US and Canada. Together with an academic counselor, students make their own schedule according to their interests and may choose from a wide range of courses, including a top-notch Hebrew Ulpan. In addition, students are offered advanced placement opportunities in the myriad of courses conducted in Hebrew at the college. In order to ensure academic success, students requiring extra help in any course are provided with private tutorials. In addition to studies, students benefit from extracurricular activities such as Shabbatonim, Chagim parties and exciting tiyulim.

What does it include?
Tuition includes full yeshiva and academic program, dormitory, three meals daily, tiyulim and special programs.

Extras:
As an internationally recognized college, our credits are generally transferable to North American universities.
