Semester, year, and summer programs in English for undergraduate students. The diverse academic offerings are complemented by a variety of exciting extracurricular activities including seminars and tours..
Core contents of the program:
The Division of Undergraduate Studies offers full year or one semester academic courses in Jewish, Israel, Middle East, science, and general studies for: Freshman Students – open to qualified high school graduates who plan to continue their academic studies in their home countries; Israel University Option (IUO) – Freshman students preparing to continue their education in one of Israel's institutions of higher education; Undergraduate Students – sophomores, juniors and seniors attending the RIS study abroad program with the intention of transferring credits back to their home universities.
All students learn Hebrew in either the Summer Ulpan or Winter Ulpan, and during each semester of study. Students who have attained a high level of proficiency in Hebrew may attend regular courses offered in the various faculties of the Hebrew University.
