The Habo U program is a combination of academic education, personal and communal growth, activism towards positive social change in Israel, and residence in a cooperative urban living environment. Participants will take course work through the University of Haifa’s accredited International School. The group will also participate in educational seminars facilitated by a madrich (guide) from the Habonim Dror Movement in Israel, as well as tiyulim (field trips). Volunteer placements organized by the Habo U staff will supplement the academic program. Participants are welcome to attend a semester or a year.



What does it include?
University of Haifa tuition, a furnished off-campus apartment, health insurance, educational seminars once a week, a volunteer placement, travel within Haifa, contact with the Habonim Dror community in Israel and with sister youth movement Ha’Noar Ha’Oved Ve’HaLomed.
