Martial Arts and Israel Leadership Program

A unique opportunity to study martial arts in Israel while following in the footsteps of Jewish Heroes.

From Judah the Maccabi to Joseph Trumpeldor in Tel Hai, from Deborah the prophet to Hannah Senesh, the paratrooper-poet, Jewish heroes have led our people with their strength and wisdom. (Participants will visit the actual locations of historical events and identify with Jewish and Zionist concepts of self-defense, courage and survival.)

This program will inspire your soul and strengthen your body while giving you practical skills to be a leader in your community.
Participants will be taught a variety of martial arts such as Karate-do, Judo, Aikido or Krav Maga (the Israeli self defense system that has become popular the world over) by the finest instructors in Israel.
Accommodation will be provided at Ulpan Akiva, Green Beach, Netanya.

Core contents of the program:
Traditional and practical martial arts studies, Jewish studies, Hebrew lessons, many trips, leadership workshops, encounters with Israeli youth and volunteer teaching throughout Israel with Budo for Peace (www.budoforpeace.org).

What does it include?
Jewish and Israel studies, Hebrew lessons, touring, martial arts training, room and full board, Israeli insurance, security provisions, martial arts certification, volunteer teaching and regular touring.

Extras:
