Merchavim is a program designed for Jewish educators and Jewish education students. The program’s aim is to train them for their work with young Jewish children in English speakers Jewish Communities. This project offers the participants the experience to work and to operate with the cooperation of Israeli society in different conceptual areas: Geographic areas – Different places in Israel, landscapes, sites, culture and inhabitants. Educational areas – Culture, knowledge, consultancy and instruction services, that will be given in the college’s campus, guided by Israeli educators and students. The experiential area – Israeli kindergartens – with instruction provided by the college’s educational staff. Kindergartens in the participant’ s country (implementation by an educational project) guided by the community’s educational staff with the cooperation of the professional staff at the Levinsky College and the Jewish Agency.

What is included?
Services and accommodations:
- Apartment for two/four participants in Tel-Aviv. Apartments include all equipment needed to live comfortably.
- Participants will receive a monthly bus pass allowing you to travel around the city at no extra cost.

- Tours in the north and south of Israel and Weekly “siyurim” (day trips) to educational sites around Israel
