How did you find out about MASA? |
Rachel came to Israel after the war with Lebanon as a volunteer to help with Israel's recovery. Although she chose to participate in a MASA program, she chose not to apply for a MASA scholarship. |
|
In her own words |
"Every dollar I'd get from MASA would mean a dollar less for someone else who really needed it. I came to Israel out of commitment. As Elie Wiesel once said 'I may not live in Israel but I can't live without it.' " |

Otzma |
As an Otzma participant, Rachel was working with Druze, Arab-Israeli, Palestinian, Christian and Jewish children in the pediatric oncology ward at Haifa's Rambam hospital.
She is just one of the many MASA participants making a difference in Israel this year.
