MASA Gala, Contributors' Corner & more!

"The whole event was so cool. It was amazing to be sitting in Sultan's Pool, in Jerusalem, in Israel and celebrating the unification of Jerusalem."

"The show made me realize how much I am going to miss Israel. I am so not ready to go back to Canada!"

"I lost my voice cheering and screaming. Why can't we have the Gala event every month?"

Editor's Note
It is crazy to think that our parents only came to Israel to visit, live on a Kibbutz or study. Today we are able to pick and choose the type of program that best suits our needs. MASA programs are only growing and we are all benefiting from it. MASA is giving us the opportunity to join the army, travel throughout the country, learn Hebrew, immerse in the culture, study, intern, teach, volunteer – and do it all with grant money.

On top of all the programs MASA has also created MAP (MASA Activities for Participants) which brings MASA participants together for fun and very cheap events- even free- like concerts, lectures and tiyulim.

As this MASA year comes to an end we are already preparing for next year, adding new programs, more awesome MAP activities and getting the word out that MASA wants everyone to find a way to experience Israel.

We hope that you enjoyed your time in Israel and that you make your way back again and again.
How has your time in Israel and your program changed you?
What do you think about Israel, Israelis and the food?
What will you miss?
And how do you plan to take your experience with you?
