60 Years of Development, Culture and Leadership

Unique circumstances led to the establishment of the State of Israel, which absorbed millions of immigrants from various cultures and went through significant changes politically, socially and economically. After six decades, while taking into consideration the developments in the entire world, and in the Jewish world in particular, one can examine leaders, events and phenomenon in Israel. During the Shabbaton, we will look into the development of culture, technology and Zionist activity, and examine participants' connection to the state of Israel, while providing tools for its promotion in the world.
Goals: - Deepening understanding of changes that have occurred in the character of Israel over the years. - Personal interaction with important figures in Israeli culture. - Introduction to future tendencies in civilian, social, economic and political fields. - Understanding of turning points which have affected Israeli government and society. - Strengthening the connection to Israel and providing the tools for representing Israel in the world.
